Hi Comrades!

We’re awfully excited over here, as this is our first near-full-length video, and it’s a treat.  The amazing folks over at the Salvation Army granted TSC an exclusive preview of their enormous, fabulous & infamous coat sale in December, and we’re honored to take it from them and give it straight to you.

The next sale is THIS SATURDAY, JANUARY 8, at the Salvation Army on West 46th Street in Manhattan. (See our handy map!) It’s the last sale of the season, so don’t miss it!

More great news and exclusive features coming soon! Thanks again for being a TSC reader.  Over and out!

All best,
Nicole & the TSC Team

Hi! So we went to the sale today – didn’t get there first thing (someone is so in the dog house for messing up the alarm clock). I looked around, but didn’t see you and have to admit that once we started looking through coats we weren’t looking at anything else. Made out like a bandit, 4 nice leathers, a Bill Blass olive green raincoat trench, 4 wool coats, various shoes and purses (my daughter and I are trying to give Imelda Marcos a run for her money), all for a grand total of $111 and some change. This gets all four of the teen and 20-something kids outfitted, myself, and I was even able to pick one up for a friend who couldn’t make it. Very happy with what we got. Thanks for the heads up! 🙂

Sounds you got an amazing haul! Congrats! It makes us so happy to know that you were able to have fun AND get your kids warm on the cheap. POWER TO THE THRIFTY! Be sure to keep us updated on future hauls. Good luck with the shoe collection!
