Last Salvation Army Coat Sale of the Year THIS SATURDAY, DEC. 4!

Hey there, you hungry, chilly Comrades!

If you live anywhere near New York City, you’re in for a special treat with the Salvation Army’s Final Coat Sale, Saturday, December 4th, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at 536 West 46th Street in Manhattan.  People start lining up at around 8:00 a.m., jockeying for a spot at the front of the line (and to the left, which is usually where they put the handbags and the VERY NECESSARY shopping carts)

TSC will be there to support you, cheer you on and document the whole beautiful thing,  with some exciting news coming in the next few weeks!  Rather than go into all the nitty gritty AGAIN, read our “How-To Guide” here.

Look for Ian and I in the store, and come up and introduce yourself, and (or) join our Facebook Group for up-to-the-minute deals and steals.

We can’t wait to see you!
Until then, happy shopping, and thanks for being a TSC reader!

Me'n Ian!

Hello Nicole – thanks for blogging about this – after reading your posts, I have vowed to be there for the last one coming next week – only…. where? There are so many Salvation Army locations in New York City. Where exactly did you go?

Thanks for a great resource for us thrift store junkies 🙂

      Hi Lovely Kaldresh!
Huzzah! Glad to hear you’re going to be there – at least one of us will be there too, so check out a few of the photos to see our mugs and come up to introduce yourself! The Coat Sale is January 8 at 535 West 46th Street (between 10th & 11th Avenues) in Manhattan. People begin lining up at 8:30, which, if you’re looking for a high end fur, I’d really recommend. Otherwise, you’ll be fine to show up during the day. Happy New Year, and looking forward to seeing you there!
